Trauma
Injuries are unfortunately part of our active lifestyles, but they should not prevent us from returning to our normal lives, occupations or sports, at the same functional level prior to sustaining the injury. Doctor Crane and his team will guide you through every step of the recovery program, from the operating theatre to sport/occupation specific physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
Deformity Correction
Deformities of the limbs occur congenitally (present at birth) or may be acquired through trauma. These may present as a short limb or an angular deformity (bow-legs). Foot deformities are the most common deformities in children ranging from club foot to mild flat feet. Doctor Crane uses the Ponseti technique to treat club feet, which has proven excellent results with very few children ever requiring surgery. He has trained locally and overseas in the use of the Taylor Spatial Frame, a computer guided surgical device, to precisely correct any limb deformity.
